DESCRIPTION
Funky Weekend
Seasonal Espresso Blend
Chocolatey, sweet, and unapologetically funky.
Funky Weekend is a seasonal espresso blend that brings together two of our favourite coffees, Brazil Rancho Grande and Colombia Santa Ana. The Brazil gives a creamy, smooth chocolate base, while the Santa Ana — a bold, winey, anaerobic coffee — adds a lively hit of red fruit funk and intensity.
The result is a coffee that’s sweet, chocolate-led, but definitely has an edge. You can feel the funk in every sip.
What does this coffee taste like?
Expect milk chocolate and roasted nuts upfront, followed by a punch of red fruit and winey funk from the Colombian. The body is smooth and rounded, but the Santa Ana gives the cup vibrancy and bold character.
If you enjoy chocolate-forward espressos that still make you sit up and take notice, Funky Weekend is made for you.

About the blend
Funky Weekend balances the smooth, chocolatey body of Brazil with the bold, winey funk of Colombia Santa Ana. The Brazilian component keeps the cup familiar and approachable, while the Santa Ana brings intense fruit, winey notes, and expressive character.
It’s espresso with body, sweetness, and a noticeable edge — perfect for those who like a cup that’s lively and full of flavour.
Why we roast it
We created Funky Weekend for anyone who loves chocolatey Brazilian coffee but also wants a hit of intensity and funk. The Santa Ana adds boldness, red fruit sweetness, and that unmistakable anaerobic character — a little wild, a little crazy, but perfectly balanced by the Brazil.
This blend fits in our chocolate and caramel flavour range but brings a playful, expressive twist that makes it stand out.
Brew it your way
Funky Weekend is designed for espresso and milk-based drinks. It performs beautifully in lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites, delivering body, chocolate sweetness, and a noticeable kick of fruit funk.
Best suited for espresso-based drinks.
